Veteran’s Day Concert, November 13th, 2022 from 2pm to 4pm at the Englewood Methodist Church, 700 East Dearborn Street, Englewood Florida. Featured vocalist Kathryn Parks. Englewood Boy Scouts Color Guard. Please join us as we salute our veterans.

History Day in the Park presented by Phillippi Estate Park , 5500 Tamiami Trail, Sarasota Florida.

March 25,2023. This event will feature numerous historical societies on site to appraise antique dolls, Barbies and antique toys. Authors of local history books, painters, Amish quilts and demonstration of antique machinery. The Sarasota Concert Band will be on site to play period songs for your enjoyment.

Gulf Coast Honor Band concert May 7th,2023 , 5pm at the Sarasota Opera House, 61 North Pineapple Avenue Sarasota, Florida. This is the “Best of the Best” five county students who auditioned to win the top spot in their class. These middle school and high school students will amaze you with their performance. Two well known conductors were specially selected for this event and will conduct the two bands. Sarasota Concert Band who sponsors the event will open the performance. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $20.00.

Please join us for our annual Memorial Day Concert, May 29,2026 at Phillippi Estate Park, 5500 Tamiami Trail. From 5pm to 7pm. For over 40 years we have been honoring all branches of the military at the Phillippi Estate Park with a Memorial Day concert. The Nokomis Boy Scout Troop 1001 will present Colors. This concert will include many of your favorite patriotic songs as wells as familiar show tunes as well as a featured vocalist. Please bring a lawn chair, blanket and snacks or you can buy something from the vendors on site. This event is free to the public.
